Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead major infrastructure development projects in Nelspruit. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring compliance with specifications, budget, and timelines.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering or infrastructure management background, with 8+ years in project management and a track record of delivering large-scale construction initiatives. A PrEng registration is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in project management for infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and materials.
• Regulatory compliance and permitting experience.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end management of infrastructure development projects, from feasibility studies to final commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Coordinate and manage contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders involved in the projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Monitor project performance, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
