Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure projects in the Mahikeng/North West region. You will drive planning, budgeting, and delivery while ensuring quality and on‑time completion.

Responsibilities include risk management, stakeholder engagement, and leading diverse teams across design, procurement and construction. A strong PM background in municipal or government projects and ECSA registration are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr CPM) is advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in civil engineering.
• Experience with municipal or government projects preferred.
• Proven ability in project management methodologies, contract administration, and financial management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead and motivate project teams to high performance.
• Manage relationships with clients, government agencies and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety and environmental laws.
