Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Civil Project Manager to oversee major infrastructure initiatives in the Pretoria region. You will manage planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination to deliver projects on time and within budget, leading multidisciplinary teams with a focus on quality and safety.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and a PMP or similar certification is desirable, with 10+ years of civil infrastructure experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• PMP or similar certification is desirable.
• At least 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure project management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and direct project teams, contractors, and consultants for seamless execution.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions.
• Ensure compliance with construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, government agencies, and stakeholders.
• Prepare regular project status reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
