Qualifications

• B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in process engineering focusing on optimization and debottlenecking.
• Expertise in process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated experience with APC strategies.
• Strong understanding of chemical plant operations and equipment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute process optimization projects to enhance yield, reduce energy consumption, and minimize waste.
• Utilize advanced process modeling and simulation tools to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for process control and automation to achieve optimal performance.
• Conduct detailed data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and improve operational stability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure successful implementation and sustainment of optimized processes.
