Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead optimization across our client's Polokwane manufacturing operations. You will drive production efficiency, safety, and quality, troubleshooting complex challenges and steering improvement projects end-to-end.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in chemical process engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with process simulation, PHAs, and cross-functional collaboration with production, QC, and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 7+ years in process engineering within chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with HAZOP and process safety management.
• Proficiency in process simulation and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Optimize chemical processes to improve yield, efficiency, and costs.
• Design, develop, and implement new process technologies and modifications.
• Troubleshoot operations related to chemical processing and equipment.
• Conduct PHAs and ensure safety regulation adherence.
• Collaborate with production, QC, and R&D to meet goals.
• Manage engineering projects from scope to execution and budgeting.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff on operations.
