Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in process optimization / continuous improvement / performance analysis.
• Proficiency in SPC and data analysis software (Minitab, JMP).
• Experience with process simulation and modeling tools is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams in Stellenbosch.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing chemical processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, including energy efficiency and waste reduction.
• Use statistical analysis and modeling tools to evaluate performance and predict outcomes.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to implement changes.
• Conduct pilot studies to validate optimization initiatives before full-scale rollout.
• Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
