Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in chemical production, process improvement, or manufacturing roles.
• Proven track record in optimizing chemical processes and implementing safety procedures.
• Familiarity with process control systems and MES.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily chemical production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Optimize production processes to improve yield, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
• Implement and manage process safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Train and mentor production staff on new processes and safety procedures.
