Placements24 seeks a Senior Process Chemical Engineer for a fully remote position. You will optimize chemical operations, lead process improvements, and mentor junior staff across distributed teams. Strong background in process design, safety analyses, and data-driven optimization is essential.

You will design and review P&IDs, run simulations, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards while delivering projects on time and within budget. A PE credential is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in process chemical engineering, with emphasis on plant operations and process design.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes to meet production, safety, and environmental standards.
• Conduct detailed process simulations, hazard analyses (HAZOP), and risk assessments to ensure operational safety and integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex process issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and new technologies.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, operating manuals, and safety procedures.
• Monitor process performance, analyze data, and generate KPI reports to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other technical staff.
