Placements24 in Kimberley seeks a highly experienced Senior Industrial Engineer specializing in Process Design to lead the design, development and optimization of production processes and systems, driving efficiency, quality and cost targets.

You will guide complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with R&D, operations and maintenance to implement innovative, safe manufacturing solutions in a large industrial facility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial engineering with focus on process design.
• Experience with process simulation tools Arena or AnyLogic and statistical software.
• Proven track record leading complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Strong knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, and manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of new production processes and systems for scalability and efficiency.
• Analyze existing processes, identify improvements, implement data-driven optimization.
• Develop process flow diagrams, equipment specs, and procedures.
• Use simulation and statistical tools to model and validate designs.
• Collaborate with R&D, operations, and maintenance to execute projects in Kimberley.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
• Oversee implementation of new processes and equipment ensuring performance and safety.
