Placements24 is seeking a Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to cover the Nelspruit, Mpumalanga region. This field-based role targets healthcare professionals including physicians, pharmacists and hospital administrators.

You will promote a portfolio of medicines, educate prescribers on benefits and safety, build lasting relationships, and strive to achieve ambitious sales targets. The role offers comprehensive training, support from a growing pharmaceutical company, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of pharma sales experience in local market.
• Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve or exceed sales objectives.
• Promote assigned pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals within the designated territory.
• Educate physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers on the efficacy, safety, and appropriate use of products.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
• Provide timely market feedback, sales reports, and forecasts to management.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic areas relevant to the product portfolio.
• Ability to build rapport and credibility with healthcare professionals.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Understanding of ethical sales practices and pharmaceutical regulations.
