The ideal candidate has a Pharmacy/Life Sciences/Marketing degree and at least 4 years in pharma sales, with a proven quota track record. A driver’s license and CRM/MS Office proficiency are required for success in a hybrid

About the Role

Our client, a prominent pharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to cover the Soweto, Gauteng territory. This hybrid role involves significant field-based client engagement combined with remote planning and reporting activities. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our client's pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and pharmacies. This position requires a deep understanding of pharmaceutical products, disease states, and the healthcare landscape, along with exceptional sales and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed territory sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate healthcare providers on the features, benefits, and clinical applications of pharmaceutical products.
• Present product information effectively, addressing technical queries and clinical concerns.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the territory.
• Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and training sessions.
• Manage territory budget and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
