Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a mining-related engineering field or equivalent
• 7+ years of progressive project management in mining/industrial settings
• Proven track record managing projects with significant budgets
• Deep understanding of mining processes, equipment, and safety protocols
• Experience with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6) and methodologies
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel to mine sites near Rustenburg, North West

Responsibilities

• Oversee full project lifecycle for operational enhancement projects within mining environments
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, objectives, timelines, budgets
• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams and stakeholders
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• Monitor progress against KPIs and report to senior management
• Ensure adherence to SHE regulations in mining operations
• Oversee procurement of equipment, technology and services
• Drive adoption of new technologies and process improvements
• Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned
