About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree or PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of comprehensive project management experience, with at least 5 years focused on the mining or heavy industrial sector.
• Proven experience managing projects with budgets exceeding R40 million, particularly those involving operational upgrades or technological implementations.
• Strong understanding of mining processes, equipment, and associated operational challenges.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage technical and non-technical teams effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar) and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, with a commitment to on-site presence in Rustenburg as required.
• Must have legal authorization to work in South Africa .
