Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to oversee critical mining projects in Rustenburg. You will drive safety, efficiency and operational improvements across sites, manage lifecycles from concept to completion, and align initiatives with business objectives.

The role requires a Mining/Mechanical Engineering degree and 7+ years of mining PM experience, including capital projects. You will coordinate internal teams and contractors, monitor progress, and report to senior management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of project management experience in mining.
• Experience managing capital expenditure projects.
• Strong understanding of mining processes, equipment and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of mining-related projects from concept to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets and resource requirements.
• Coordinate activities between internal departments, external contractors and regulators.
• Monitor progress and resolve deviations from plan.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental standards.
