Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment is seeking a Senior Product Sales Specialist / Vendor Champion in Midrand, Gauteng, to drive revenue and manage a leading vendor portfolio in the IT hardware distribution and sales solutions space.

You will build strategic vendor relationships, manage the full sales lifecycle from demand generation to deal closure, and collaborate across Sales, Product, Pricing, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Operations to hit revenue, gross profit and market-share targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a related field.
• 5–8 years' experience in IT distribution, vendor management, channel sales, business development, account management or product sales.
• Experience working with OEM vendors, reseller partners and enterprise customers.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Own transport and a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships with vendors and reseller partners.
• Drive vendor-specific business plans, revenue, profitability and market growth.
• Identify, qualify and develop strategic sales opportunities.
• Manage the full opportunity lifecycle—from demand generation to deal closure.
• Support reseller partners with solution positioning, competitive differentiation and new opportunities.
• Manage pricing, special bids, deal registrations, rebates and commercial approvals.
• Drive pipeline visibility, forecasting and opportunity progression.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Pricing, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Operations.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging technology opportunities.
• Achieve revenue, gross profit, market share and vendor growth targets.
