Placements24 is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer & E-Learning Developer in East London, Eastern Cape, ZA. You will lead the end-to-end design and development of digital learning experiences for employees, from concept to deployment, collaborating with SMEs and leveraging the latest authoring tools.

The role requires a strong portfolio in interactive courses, simulations, and multimedia assets, with expertise in ADDIE/SAM and adult learning principles.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in instructional design and e-learning development.
• Demonstrated expertise with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM).
• Proficiency in creating multimedia elements (graphics, audio, video).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to manage multiple projects.

• Design and develop engaging, interactive e-learning courses and digital materials.
• Apply instructional design principles to meet objectives.
• Create storyboards, scripts, and multimedia assets.
