Placements24 is seeking a Senior Digital Learning Designer for our Midrand, Gauteng office. This hybrid role combines on-site and remote work to create engaging e-learning modules and blended solutions for a corporate audience.

You will lead design and development of digital content, simulations, and assessments, applying ADDIE/SAM, and collaborating with SMEs. Proficiency with Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and Rise, plus a strong portfolio, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in instructional design and e-learning development.
• Proficiency with authoring tools Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality digital learning content including e-learning, videos, webinars, and interactive assessments.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM).
• Utilize authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise) to build courses.
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather content and ensure accuracy.
• Manage the learning design process from needs analysis to deployment.
• Create storyboards, scripts, and visual designs for digital materials.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and drive data-driven improvements.
• Stay current with e-learning trends and mentor junior designers.
