Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Manager with expertise in infrastructure development to join our client’s team in Port Elizabeth. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery of major roads, bridges and utilities projects in the Eastern Cape.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in infrastructure project management, a Civil Engineering background, strong leadership, and proficiency with PM software; professional registration is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in infrastructure project management.
• Experience managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong engineering principles, construction techniques, and regulatory knowledge.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; professional registration desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities).
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
• Oversee contractor performance, QA, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress for safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with authorities, communities, and internal teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery.
