Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee major infrastructure developments in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. You will drive all project phases from concept through closeout, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in civil construction, strong leadership, and a proven track record managing projects > R100 million.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in construction project management, infrastructure focus.
• Proven track record delivering projects > R100 million.
• Experience with contract administration and negotiation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and BIM is a plus.
• Registration with a professional body (e.g., ECSA) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall execution of large-scale infrastructure construction projects.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans: scope, budget, schedule, and resources.
• Oversee site operations: safety, quality, enviro policies.

A leading engineering and construction firm is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee significant infrastructure development projects in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. • Proven track record of managing projects valued at over R100 million.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with contract administration and negotiation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and BIM is a plus.
• Professional registration with a relevant body (e.g., ECSA) is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental management.
• Previous experience working within the Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape construction sector.
