Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Process Engineer for a fully remote position in South Africa. You will analyze, design, and implement process improvements across manufacturing and operations to boost efficiency and cut costs while maintaining top quality standards.

You will leverage simulation and data analytics, develop equipment specifications, and mentor junior engineers as part of distributed teams to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years hands-on experience in industrial process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing industrial processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Design and implement new process workflows and SOPs.
• Use simulation tools to model and validate changes.
• Collaborate with remote engineering, operations, and R&D teams.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage process-improvement projects from initiation to delivery.
• Document reports and present to stakeholders.
