Placements24 seeks a Senior Industrial Process Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of industrial processes in a remote-first role based in the Stellenbosch region. You will drive operational excellence, cost reduction, and productivity improvements across global operations.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Industrial Engineering with 8+ years in process design, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma, and can lead complex projects with remote teams using Arena, Simio, and

Qualifications

Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
8+ years experience in industrial engineering with focus on process design and optimization.
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), and TQM.
Experience coordinating remote teams across multiple sites and functions.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of strategic process improvements across multiple sites.
Analyze complex manufacturing data to identify root causes of inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
Design and model new production processes, workflows, and system layouts using simulation and CAD tools.
Develop and refine SOPs and best practices for global implementation by remote teams.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on process design and optimization projects.
Collaborate with R&D, operations, and quality assurance to ensure project success.
