Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer for a remote-first role guiding cross-functional teams to boost efficiency, reduce cost, and improve quality across manufacturing units. You will analyze complex production systems, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in industrial or manufacturing engineering, lean and Six Sigma certifications, and proficiency with Arena, AnyLogic, and Minitab/JMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum 5–7 years in industrial engineering with focus on process improvement and manufacturing environments.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma project experience; certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive process analysis to identify efficiency, throughput, and resource utilization improvements.
• Develop and implement lean initiatives (value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen) remotely.
• Design, model, and simulate new or modified production systems to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Utilize statistical software to interpret performance data, identify trends, quantify savings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement engineering solutions.
• Develop SOPs and training materials for new processes.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Stay updated on industry best practices in industrial engineering.
