Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to own the HR function across the group in South Africa.

This senior standalone role partners with leadership to drive employee engagement, compliance, performance, and organisational growth in a dynamic fuel logistics environment.

You will lead talent acquisition, payroll, policy development, and labour relations across the business and its subsidiaries; a 10+ year HR track record and relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in HRM or related field required.
• Honours degree advantageous.
• Additional qualifications in Labour Law, Payroll, BBBEE advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years practical HR experience.
• Proven experience managing a standalone HR function.
• Strong payroll experience (VIP/Sage advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to placement; draft job specs; oversee pipelines; coordinate onboarding.
• Performance Management & Employee Development: Drive performance reviews; coordinate training; manage WSP/ATR submissions; support succession planning.
• Employee Relations & Labour Compliance: Manage disciplinary hearings, grievances, investigations; ensure compliance with labour legislation; engage in conflict resolution.
• Payroll & HR Administration: Oversee monthly payroll processing; manage leave, contracts, records; liaison with finance for payroll reconciliations and compliance.
• HR Policies, Compliance & Organisational Culture: Develop policies; drive EE and BBBEE initiatives; ensure HR compliance; foster high-performing culture.
