Job summary

Placements24 in Centurion is seeking a highly motivated Senior HR Officer to support recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration and compliance across locations. The role suits an experienced HR professional who can manage multiple priorities.

You will partner with the HR Manager to implement initiatives, maintain accurate records, generate HR reports and ensure South African labor law compliance. The position offers remote work flexibility and a collaborative Centurion-based team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
• Proficiency in South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and payroll processing.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job profiling to candidate selection and offer management.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding for employees, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with SA labor laws.
• Support the HR Manager in developing and implementing HR initiatives and projects.
• Handle employee queries with accurate information and resolution on HR-related matters.
• Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports for management review.
