Placements24 is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to lead day-to-day HR operations in Klerksdorp, North West Province. This hybrid role combines strategic input with hands-on execution across talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

You will support leadership and employees across sites, ensure South African labour compliance, and drive engagement and change initiatives while leveraging HRIS and MS Office to analyze data and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field; 5–7+ years HR Generalist experience; SA labour law knowledge.
• Masters degree is advantageous.

• Provide comprehensive HR support to assigned business units and act as trusted advisor to management.
• Lead and manage talent acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent firm in the agricultural services sector, is seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Generalist to join their team in Klerksdorp, North West Province . This hybrid role is designed for a proactive HR professional who can contribute strategically while managing day-to-day HR operations. You will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, serving employees across various operational sites. The position requires a blend of strategic insight and hands-on execution, supported by a hybrid work model that balances office-based collaboration with remote flexibility. Key Responsibilities

• Support change management processes and organizational development efforts.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions.
• Manage HR documentation and maintain accurate employee records.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background as an HR Generalist.
• Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compensation & benefits.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing tasks both remotely and on-site in Klerksdorp .
• Experience within the agricultural or related industries is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
