Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our client’s team in Sandton. The role combines hybrid work with in-office collaboration to drive HR strategy, employee relations, and talent initiatives across business units.

The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of HR generalist experience, a solid grasp of South African labor law, and expertise in HRIS and people analytics to enhance performance and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong generalist background.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in managing complex employee relations issues and HR projects.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support to assigned business units, acting as a trusted advisor to management and employees.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and talent development programs.
• Support talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the attraction of high-caliber candidates.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and company policies.
• Lead HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee engagement.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
