Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding.
• Oversee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and equitable packages.
• Ensure compliance with all South African labor laws and regulations, updating policies as necessary.
• Handle employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures with professionalism and discretion.
• Maintain accurate HR records and utilize HR information systems (HRIS) effectively.
• Collaborate with departmental managers to identify and address HR-related needs and challenges.
• Champion employee engagement and contribute to the development of a strong organizational culture.
• Support change management initiatives and contribute to organizational development efforts.
