Job summary

iOCO is seeking an experienced Payroll Professional in Johannesburg to manage end-to-end payroll operations for SA and international payrolls where applicable.

You will review inputs, ensure timely payments, prepare third-party settlements, and support SARS submissions and IRP5 reporting while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Strong VIP/eFile/Excel skills and client-facing experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of payroll experience with end-to-end processing.
• Experience with South African requirements (PAYE, IRP5, SARS).
• Ability to manage payroll workflow, quality and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full payroll function for SA and foreign payrolls.
• Review inputs and outputs before approval.
• Ensure timely monthly payroll payments.
• Prepare and submit PAYE bi-annual returns to SARS.
• Support payroll reporting and audits; respond to queries.
