Job summary

iOCO is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Consultant to manage payroll data, reports, salary sheets, timesheets, deductions, exemptions, transfers, and payroll documentation in a fast-paced environment in Johannesburg.

You will ensure governance and deadlines are met, while maintaining accuracy and integrity of payroll systems. The role requires experience in payroll administration, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organised payroll professional with experience in fast-paced environments.
• Experience handling payroll data, reports, salary sheets, timesheets, deductions and exemptions.
• Proven ability to work with governance requirements and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll data, salary sheets and reports accurately.
• Maintain payroll records and update exemptions, deductions and job titles.
• Prepare monthly UIF submissions and ensure correct IRP5 codes.
• Provide payroll information by answering questions from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure timely payroll cycles.
