Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator for a fully remote role based in Centurion, Gauteng. You will manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensure compliance with SA payroll legislation, and handle employee inquiries.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of SA payroll experience, proficiency with VIP Payroll, Sage or Payslip, and strong Excel skills. You will maintain confidential payroll data and support HR with payroll-related matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of payroll administration experience in SA.
• Strong knowledge of SA payroll legislation (BCEA, LRA, COIDA, PAYE, UIF, SDL).
• Proficiency with VIP Payroll, Sage or Payslip and advanced MS Excel.
• Ability to work remotely and handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for all employees.
• Prepare monthly SARS and statutory reports.
• Respond to employee payroll queries and resolve issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data and records.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll-related matters.
