Job summary

Lumina Personnel is seeking a Senior Front House Floor Manager for a premier fine dining restaurant in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences through strong leadership of the FOH team, reservations management, and flawless service flow.

Salary is negotiable, R18,000 – R20,000 per month, with potential for growth in a luxury setting. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in hospitality management and has 5-7+ years FOH management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field (preferred).
5-7+ years of front-of-house management experience, incl. 2-3 years in a senior role at a luxury setting.
Proficiency with restaurant management software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the front-of-house team, overseeing hiring, training and performance management.
Ensure adherence to service standards and fine dining etiquette while enhancing guest experiences.
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and service flow with strong organizational skills.
Handle guest complaints professionally, maintaining excellent communication and relations.
Coordinate special events and private dining experiences with attention to detail and planning.
Monitor budgeting and revenue tracking while controlling expenses.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in front-of-house operations.
