Job summary

Centre Recruit Consultants invites an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead a 60-seat A'la Carte and fine dining operation in Pretoria. You will oversee front-of-house and kitchen pass, drive exceptional guest service, and ensure efficient, hygienic operations to deliver standout dining experiences.

Required: at least 5 years in fine dining, Hospitality Diploma or equivalent, and extensive wine knowledge with sommelier accreditation preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Hospitality Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in A'la Carte and fine dining service.
Extensive knowledge of beverages and wines, with experience in fine dining establishments.
Wine steward or sommelier accreditation or similar qualification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the food and beverage business in a fine dining setting.
Maintain efficient operation of A'la Carte & fine dining restaurant services.
Manage front-of-house and kitchen pass for a 60-seat restaurant.
Provide outstanding wine pairing service as an accredited wine steward or sommelier.
Oversee dining room, manage guest check-ins, and balance seating capacity.
Ensure hygiene, safety, and compliance across all areas.
Train staff and implement policies to ensure smooth operations.
Control costs and prepare performance reports.
