Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree with focus on power systems or energy storage is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design and engineering of energy storage systems or power electronics.
• Strong understanding of battery chemistries (e.g., Li-ion), PCS, and BMS.
• Proficiency with power system analysis tools and simulation software.

Aufgaben

• Design and engineer integrated energy storage systems (BESS) for utility-scale, commercial, and industrial applications.
• Specify battery technologies, inverters, control systems, and balance-of-plant components.
• Develop control strategies and algorithms for BESS operation, including grid-connected and islanded modes.
• Conduct system modeling and simulations to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with project development, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Perform site assessments and feasibility studies for BESS installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning and operation of BESS.
• Stay current with advancements in battery technology and energy management systems.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
