Placements24 seeks a Senior Instructional Designer to craft engaging e-learning experiences for a global audience. You will lead the design and development lifecycle, collaborating with SMEs, multimedia developers, and project managers in a remote-first environment.

The role requires a strong pedagogy foundation, extensive experience in instructional design, and proficiency with Storyline and Captivate, with a focus on high-quality assessments and interactive content.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in instructional design, with a significant focus on e-learning development.
• Proven expertise in applying adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy).
• Advanced proficiency with leading e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia software.
• Demonstrated experience in developing engaging and interactive online assessments.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience working in a fully remote, collaborative team environment is highly desirable.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning experience platforms (LXP).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality e-learning courses, modules, and learning experiences using adult learning principles and instructional design models.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex information into engaging and accessible learning content.
• Create storyboards, scripts, interactive exercises, assessments, and multimedia elements for online courses.
• Utilize various authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning technologies to build interactive learning solutions.
• Ensure learning content is aligned with learning objectives, learner needs, and business goals.
• Lead and mentor junior instructional designers and provide expert guidance on best practices.
• Manage multiple e-learning development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Conduct needs analyses and performance consulting to identify learning gaps and propose effective solutions.
