Job summary
Placements24 seeks a Senior Online Curriculum Developer to design, develop and implement engaging online learning experiences. This fully remote role collaborates with educators and instructional designers globally to shape online education.
Ideal candidates will have expertise in ADDIE/SAM, Storyline/Captiavate, and LMS administration, delivering high-quality courses and assessments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
- Experience creating online learning content for multiple platforms (LMS).
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models (ADDIE/SAM).
- Proficiency with authoring tools and multimedia software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop online curricula aligned with objectives and standards.
- Create engaging learning materials, assessments, and activities.
- Collaborate with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and pedagogy.
- Apply instructional design principles to modules and courses.
- Develop assessment strategies to measure outcomes and provide feedback.
- Manage timelines and deliverables for curriculum initiatives.
- Review and revise existing courses for quality and relevance.
- Stay updated on trends in online education and tech.
- Facilitate online discussions and support learners as needed.
