Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Operations Analyst to join our fully remote team. You will analyze e-commerce data, build dashboards, and provide insights to optimize inventory, customer experience, and overall profitability for our online business.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in ecommerce analytics, strong skills in SQL, Python/R, Excel, Tableau or Power BI, and a proven ability to translate complex findings into strategic recommendations in a virtual work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Ecommerce Analyst or in a similar data analysis role within online retail.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python/R and BI platforms like Tableau/Power BI.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce operations, web analytics, conversion rate optimization, and supply chain dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ecommerce sales data, website traffic, customer behavior, and operational metrics to identify trends and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and inform stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements across ecommerce supply chain and customer journey.
• Conduct A/B testing and other analytical experiments to optimize website performance and engagement.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Senior E-commerce Operations Analyst to join their fully remote team. This role is critical in driving operational efficiency and strategic decision-making for their online business. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize e-commerce operations, from inventory management to customer experience. The ideal candidate possesses a strong quantitative background, deep expertise in e-commerce analytics , and the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations that enhance performance and profitability in a virtual setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze e-commerce sales data, website traffic, customer behavior, and operational metrics to identify key trends and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track performance against KPIs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains across the e-commerce supply chain and customer journey.
