Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead community development initiatives in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. You will oversee planning, execution, budgets, and resources to deliver meaningful social impact with tight timelines and diverse stakeholders.

Develop detailed plans, monitor KPIs, and report to senior management, while partnering with government agencies, partners, and teams to ensure quality outcomes that improve residents' lives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in community development, social work, or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with the socio-economic landscape and development challenges in the Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of community development projects from conception to completion in Port Elizabeth.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, external partners, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and achieve desired social impact outcomes.
