Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Project Management Lead to oversee the planning, execution and delivery of critical projects in Port Elizabeth. You will guide project teams, manage resources, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and on budget, while upholding high standards for PM methodologies across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in project management.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of multiple complex projects, from initiation through to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
• Effectively manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring proactive mitigation and resolution.
• Communicate project status, progress, and potential roadblocks clearly to stakeholders and senior management.
• Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
