You will mentor junior engineers, ensure compliance with South African standards, prepare detailed drawings and specifications, and contribute to proposals and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterGEMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil infrastructure projects such as roads, stormwater drainage, water supply, and sanitation systems.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies for infrastructure development.
• Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, municipal authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Review contractor submittals and provide technical support during construction.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, codes of practice, and environmental regulations.
• Contribute to proposals and business development efforts.
