The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Civil Engineering, Pr. Eng. with ECSA, and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil design, geotechnical, structural analysis and water resources, plus strong project leadership and client liaison skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive civil engineering design and project management experience.
• Expertise in geotechnical engineering, structural analysis, and water resources management.
• Ability to lead projects and teams in a hybrid work environment in Free State.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including site development, infrastructure, and transportation systems.
• Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, often coordinating with remote team members.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and technical reviews.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Liaise with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
