Job summary

Placements24 is searching for a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy in Midrand, Gauteng. You will lead civil projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive design, drawings, and documentation with a focus on quality and compliance.

Role requires 7+ years in civil infrastructure, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit and GIS, and ECSA registration is preferred. Hybrid work and competitive remuneration are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
• Professional registration with ECSA is highly preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit and GIS software.
• Strong knowledge of SA standards (SANS) and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of civil infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, water).
• Perform site investigations, feasibility studies and impact assessments.
• Prepare drawings, specs and contract documentation.
• Manage timelines, budgets and resources across projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and authorities to ensure success.
• Review calculations and drawings; participate in tender evaluations and BD efforts.
