Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering and professional registration.
• Minimum 8 years of urban infrastructure design and project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and water/sewer modeling software.
• Strong understanding of municipal planning processes and SA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of urban infrastructure services (roads, stormwater, water, sewerage).
• Manage project lifecycles from feasibility studies to construction supervision.
• Prepare design reports, drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities and other consultants for approvals.
• Conduct site investigations for new developments.
• Ensure compliance with municipal regulations and environmental requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior engineering staff.
• Oversee tender processes and assist contractor selection.
• Provide technical support during construction.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
