Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in chemical process safety or EHS management.
• In-depth knowledge of chemical safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience with process hazard analysis (PHA) techniques.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety management systems and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, including HAZOP studies, to identify potential hazards and implement control measures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety (EHS) legislation and regulations.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide EHS training to employees and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
