Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related safety/environmental discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in safety engineering or HSE management within the chemical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, hazard analysis techniques (e.g., HAZOP), and risk management principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety and environmental regulations.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and reporting systems.
