Job summary

Baraka It Solutions is seeking a Bank Teller for a branch in Centurion, Gauteng. This front-line role involves serving customers with daily banking needs, processing transactions accurately, and promoting banking products when appropriate.

You will balance cash at shift end, uphold security procedures, and work with a supportive team to deliver exceptional service and build customer trust within the Centurion community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or cash handling is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing and loan payments.
• Provide warm, responsive service and address customer inquiries.
• Identify customer needs and refer to banking products/services as appropriate.
• Balance cash drawer at end of each shift and ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Follow bank policies, procedures and security protocols.
• Assist with opening and closing branch procedures as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently and effectively.
