Job summary

FirstRand Bank Limited invites applications for an External Sales and Service Advisor Lead to drive sales performance and build lasting client relationships with exceptional service delivery. The role emphasizes applying established processes and strengthening portfolios within the assigned area.

You will engage clients, meet targets, and support a superior customer experience by leveraging market insight to design innovative value-added banking solutions.

Qualifications

• FSCA FAIS NQF Level 5 qualification or higher is required.
• First Level Regulatory Examination completed is required.
• Credit record check under the National Credit Act (NCA) is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expert knowledge on products, pricing, application procedures, processing and timelines to drive and achieve sales targets.
• Retrieve qualified leads from internal channel and contact existing or new customers to generate sales.
• Source new leads through external contacts and other channels to increase the customer base.
• Contact prospective clients and sell banking products to achieve sales targets.
• Deliver end-to-end client management by engaging with the client through process milestones, facilitating the application to credit, and managing post-sale queries.
• Analyse competitor information and monitor market trends to identify opportunities and stay ahead.
• Track, control and influence sales activities to meet targets with quality and productivity.
• Manage personal development to increase competences.

Education
