Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Agile Project Manager to drive the development and delivery of FinTech software from its Cape Town hub, coordinating multiple agile teams and stakeholders.

This senior role requires deep agile expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering complex software on time, with a focus on continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes across the financial services domain.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project management with 4+ years in agile software development.
• Experience leading FinTech or complex software products.
• CSM or PSM certification mandatory.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient with JIRA and Confluence.
• Data-driven decision making and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple agile development teams and ceremonies.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery from concept to deployment.
• Define roadmaps with Product Managers and stakeholders.
• Manage scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks.
• Drive continuous improvement and transparent communication.
• Run reviews and retrospectives to foster learning.
