Job summary

Elchemie Recruitment is seeking an Operations Manager (Security) in Centurion, Gauteng to lead service delivery across multiple contracts. This fast-paced role requires hands-on leadership, resource planning, and strict adherence to security standards within a high-performance environment.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets and SLAs, and drive client satisfaction while ensuring H&S compliance. A valid PSIRA GrA certification and own vehicle are required; a competitive package is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in security operations management.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• No criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily security operations with focus on client satisfaction.
• Build and manage relationships with clients and service providers.
• Oversee site launches, transitions and contract handovers.
• Monitor SLAs, cost management and quality of delivery.
• Resolve client issues promptly and engage proactively.
• Manage budgets, rosters, and resource planning.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments to maintain H&S and security compliance.
• Lead staff through performance reviews and coaching.
• Collaborate with senior management on reporting and planning.
• Identify opportunities to grow services and improve client relations.
