Job summary

Cashbuild Limited in Limpopo is seeking a Sales Coordinator (Internal Applications Only) to grow sales through constant customer interaction, costed building plans, and accurate quotations. You will maintain housekeeping and merchandising standards and ensure a cost-effective delivery service.

The role requires strong numeracy, plan-reading ability, and customer-service focus, with the ability to operate under pressure and manage staff and deliveries efficiently.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus 5 years related experience or a minimum of 10 years’ work related experience
• Plan reading experience would be advantageous
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available
• Above average numeric skills
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Proven ability to work under pressure
• Must be computer literate
• Proven strong organising, planning and delegation skills

Responsibilities

• Issuing and follow up of quotations to generate sales
• Quote process and control of Special Orders
• Reading building plans and ensuring quotations are correct and within the agreed timeframe
• Manage the telephone, answer and return calls, ensure follow ups are done
• Conduct competitor analysis to ensure store competitiveness
• Communicate bulk deposit transfers to customers
• Promote loyalty programs (VIC and Charge Card Customers)
• Manage an efficient delivery service and ensure correct rates are charged
• Deliveries dispatched within the required time limit
• Delayed deliveries communicated with customer and arrangements made
• Record, follow up and resolve customer complaints
• Ensure efficient customer service at all times
• Telephone etiquette to answer calls promptly
• Effective management of Ready for Business checklists and processes
• Price changes implemented in line with advertised prices
• Implementation of planograms
• Ensure all general assistants and staff are present and performing duties
• Ensure trained backups are available
• Ensure safety standards are adhered to
• Password security and awareness of suspicious activity
