Job summary

PRR Recruitment Services is seeking a Sales Operations Lead in Johannesburg to report directly to the Sales Director and coordinate the daily activities of the sales department. You will monitor and drive team performance, ensure timely handling of customer requests, and manage tasks across the team.

The role requires developing reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics, plus strong planning, forecasting, and strategic input to enhance departmental effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a sales department and coordinating daily activities.
• Ability to monitor and drive team performance, accountability, and productivity.
• Strong follow-up and customer enquiry handling skills.
• Experience in developing reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Strong planning and forecasting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Sales Director.
• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the sales department.
• Monitor and drive sales team performance, accountability, and productivity.
• Ensure all customer requests, quotations, follow-ups, and commitments are actioned and completed timeously.
• Allocate, track, and manage tasks across the sales team.
• Develop and maintain reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Analyze sales activities and identify areas requiring management intervention.
• Monitor adherence to company policies, procedures, and sales processes.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with sales staff regarding outstanding actions and commitments.
• Prepare management reports and provide recommendations to improve departmental effectiveness.
• Assist with strategic planning, forecasting, and operational improvements within the sales department.
• Act as the central point of coordination between the Sales Director and the sales team.
• Must have advance excel skills
